Hasan Charafeddine

Hasan Charafeddine is a Programme Manager for Alfanar in Lebanon. He is an economic and business development expert with more than 12 years of experience across Lebanon and the Middle East, with work spanning inclusive economic recovery, economic security and market system development. Throughout his career, Hasan has designed and led economic development portfolios in humanitarian and development contexts, with a focus on enterprise growth, job creation, entrepreneurship, and inclusive market development. He has supported SSEs and MSMEs through business diagnostics, tailored technical assistance, access to finance, market linkages, and capacity building. Hasan's experience also includes portfolio management, programme strategy, partnership development, private sector engagement, market assessments, and the design of operational tools and business development frameworks. He holds the Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP®) credential from the Project Management Institute (PMI), reflecting his experience in aligning programmes and portfolios with organisational strategy and long-term objectives.
