Lea Traboulsi is Alfanar’s Lebanon Investment Officer. Lea supports the management, monitoring and evaluation of investments in Lebanon’s portfolio, ensuring that the social enterprises are meeting their impact and sustainability targets. Lea has an extensive experience in economic development working with the UNDP and the Investment Development Authority of Lebanon (IDAL), attracting investments to key economic sectors while supporting their growth and export potential. With USAID funded projects, Lea designed and managed a portfolio of grants to social entrepreneurs and civil society actors aimed at mitigating political and economic tensions between host and refugee communities in Lebanon’s most vulnerable areas affected by the Syrian crisis. In addition to its experience working with international donors in Lebanon, Lea supports a number of local and grassroots organisations targeting underprivileged youth in particular. Lea holds a BE in Industrial Engineering and a master degree in Development Management from the London School of Economics.
