Alefredo EdTech provides innovative educational solutions through three main pillars: a marketplace for second-hand books across multiple curricula; an AI-powered test bank and library of teachers’ notes offering learning resources for students; and a new teacher training initiative, Intilaq Academy.

Alfanar's catalytic funding and support will be focused on growing the Intilaq Academy - a hybrid digital platform that equips teachers with modern training and connects them to income-generating opportunities. By combining paid professional development with subsidised scholarships for low-income educators, and offering families tutoring at 40% below market rate, Alefredo is simultaneously improving education quality, raising teacher incomes, and reducing costs for students.

Achievements

Alfanar will support Alefredo to expand Intilaq Academy’s two-track training model, scaling affordable digital training, expanding scholarships for marginalised teachers, and strengthening governance. This funding will leverage Alefredo’s existing reach of 20,000 students and partnerships with Jordan’s Ministry of Digital Economy to close the gap between teacher capacity and student learning outcomes.
