Bedayati is providing education and skills training to economically marginalized women and youth in order for them to gain market-relevant skills to enter the job market or create their own home-based enterprises. They provide short informal professional vocational training courses with focus on in-demand sectors including hospitality and tech. In 2024, Bedayati offered vocational trainings in pastry making and web development, as well as trainings in entrepreneurship, social media and communication strategies, food photography, and bookkeeping. In order to enhance food security, Bedayati has also launched its own catering service, which employs and trains marginalized women and youth. For every meal purchased from the Bedayati Kitchen, they provide a meal for free to vulnerable families.
After completing Alfanar's SEED cycle in 2025, Bedayati progressed to our SUSTAIN portfolio. In 2025, they trained 130 young people, with 16 securing employment. We will continue to support the enterprise to strengthen its business plan and financial sustainability while growing its impact on communities to create income-generation opportunities where they matter most.
