B.O.T

B.O.T is an impact-sourcing platform that provides high-quality digital services executed by a skilled workforce of women and youth from low-income communities in Lebanon. With a focus on offering skills development and employment in areas such as data collection, data entry, and AI data training, they equip participants with life skills and income-generation opportunities.

Achievements

From 2019-2024, Alfanar helped B.O.T strengthen their impact monitoring and evaluation processes, as well as the refinement of their business plan. Alfanar also supported B.O.T to scale its support for women and youth, including through the provision of digital tools and a platform to launch their digital careers. In 2021, Alfanar, UNICEF and DOT Lebanon formed a collaborative partnership with B.O.T Lebanon to successfully pilot a new service - data annotation for AI models - delivering 25 projects to 9 international clients and generating $180K in revenue during the pilot phase alone.
