Jordan Heritage Restaurant tackles the disconnect between Jordan's rich cultural heritage and economic opportunities for women and youth by transforming heritage preservation into sustainable livelihoods. As the first restaurant fully dedicated to authentic Jordanian cuisine, it offers 94 traditional dishes sourced from trained women-led producers across nine governorates who meet national food safety standards. The restaurant generates profit through dine-in, catering, and tourism services, reinvesting revenues into the non-profit Jordan Heritage's training, research, and youth programs. Since 2014, they have documented 700+ heritage studies, trained 75+ women in food production and business skills, established restaurants in Amman and Petra, and won TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice Award 2024.
