Nadeera

Nadeera is a social enterprise addressing waste management challenges in Lebanon and the Arab region through its flagship service, Yalla Return. Nadeera empowers municipalities by designing integrated waste management systems as well as technology-enabled citizens’ outreach, waste tracking, and behavioural change to reduce, reuse and sort waste. Yalla Return creates job opportunities and fosters economic empowerment, with its franchise model enabling local entrepreneurs to establish buy-back centres and contribute to sustainable waste management.

Achievements

Since 2024, Alfanar has provided catalytic funding to Nadeera to help consolidate its business and social impact models, refine its positioning, and strengthen its sustainability narrative while preparing for scale. Alfanar is also supporting Nadeera’s market expansion and partnership development.

Since joining our portfolio, Nadeera has graduated from the Catalyst programme – on track to securing a $100k investment – and has gained expertise in GHG accounting, market valuation, and impact measurement. Alfanar is also supporting Nadeera to explore potential expansion into North America and deepening partnerships in the Gulf.
