Robotna

Robotna is a pioneering social enterprise that provides education, training and job placements in STEM to over 20,000 learners across the region, with a focus on creating opportunities for women and girls. This includes free robotics courses and workshops for underprivileged students, and competitions like the highly-popular Innovation Nation.

Achievements

Alfanar began working with Robotna in 2020 to help them develop a long-term, strategic impact model during COVID-19. Now, Alfanar’s investment is focused on growing Robotna’s capabilities to provide training to local and refugee youth in Jordan in order to secure sustainable job placements. Alfanar's venture philanthropy support includes funding, impact measurement, management and reporting, and strengthening financial management and governance. Particularly, Alfanar will work to strengthen the Robotna+ programme, which provides graduates with intensive training and places them into jobs.
