Pathways to Economic Independence
The Sultan Foundation creates pathways to economic independence for women in marginalised communities. Through vocational training and job creation in Cairo’s City of the Dead, the enterprise promotes dignity, skill-building and long-term livelihood support. Alfanar’s funding and training strengthened its impact model, particularly through the MISHKA initiative which trained women in leatherwork – providing them with the opportunity to make and sell leather accessories.
