When rising water costs made traditional farming unsustainable, General Manager Ikram Al-Shouha shifted to integrated hydroponic and fish-farming systems — reducing water loss, cutting fertiliser use, and enabling year-round production of chia, flax seeds, and Moabi saffron.

In addition to working to bring local, environmentally responsible products to communities across Jordan, Ikram’s team is creating economic pathways for women by training them in modern, sustainable farming techniques that build income and greater self-reliance.

Through the EU-funded programme From Innovation to Creation, implemented by SPARK and Alfanar, the enterprise strengthened its business model, developed a financial sustainability plan, and introduced tools to measure social and environmental impact — laying the groundwork for wider growth across Jordan.
