Alfanar, the Arab region’s first venture philanthropy organisation, is excited to announce a new cultural partnership with Azza Fahmy, a luxury jewellery house renowned for preserving craftsmanship and celebrating Arab heritage. This collaboration marks a shared commitment to championing heritage, expanding economic opportunity, and driving sustainable social change in the Arab region.
A longstanding supporter of Alfanar’s investment in Arab social entrepreneurs, Azza Fahmy has demonstrated its dedication to social responsibility – advancing cultural preservation and expanding economic opportunity for artisans through training and employment pathways.
Together, Alfanar and Azza Fahmy will amplify the impact of social enterprises within Alfanar’s Egypt portfolio that are creating employment and preserving the region’s rich cultural heritage. To date, Alfanar has helped over 200 social enterprises grow their financial sustainability and impact – including creative ventures Inaash, L’Artisan Du Liban, and Malaika.
