Alfanar is the first venture philanthropy organisation in the Arab World.  We fund and support social enterprises solving the most pressing challenges in their communities to amplify their impact and financial returns.

Alfanar, in partnership with SPARK and Impact Europe, has launched two EU-funded programmes From Innovation to Creation and Impact Together, to support existing and/or emerging innovative entrepreneurship support organisations (ESOs) (tech hubs, accelerators, incubators, university hubs, etc.) in Jordan who are committed to strengthening their institutional capacities, enhancing the quality of services they provide to entrepreneurs/SMEs, and becoming key enablers of sustainable and scalable impact-driven enterprises.

Our four-month support programme will provide three high-impact ESOs with tailored capacity building to enhance and diversify entrepreneurship services provided.

By strengthening locally-rooted ESOs, the programme aims to build resilient entrepreneurial ecosystems, enhance the quality and reach of support services, and foster long-term impact for underserved communities – including women, youth, migrants, and refugees.
