August was a month of connection and collaboration across our programmes. In Palestine, we launched a new initiative funded by Drosos with Alnayzak, Kamkalima, and Lebanese Alternative Learning. By adapting proven edtech tools from Lebanon, the programme is opening up new possibilities for students and educators in Palestine to access quality digital learning.
In Jordan, we brought over 140 social enterprises, investors, and development partners together with IFDO for the Development Partners Forum. The conversations were centred around how cross-sector collaboration can help scale sustainable solutions across the Arab region.
Alongside this, our “From Innovation to Creation” programme, funded by the European Union and implemented by Alfanar and SPARK, brought together our cohort of social enterprises and enterprise support organisations for foundational training sessions – from theory of change to grants management.
Our portfolio ventures also continued to demonstrate the impact of social entrepreneurship in action:
As we move into autumn, we look forward to building on this momentum together.
