We are pleased to have convened our first Regional Impact Connector in Amman — a day that brought together over 200 social entrepreneurs, donors, investors, and impact leaders to strengthen collaboration across the Arab impact ecosystem..
The event was co-funded by the European Union and RDPP, and implemented by SPARK, Alfanar, DRC and JOHUD — reflecting the collective commitment to advancing sustainable impact across the region.
Our conversations underscored the need for Arab-led impact that is urgent, local and collective — and explored how to bridge capital with the innovation already taking place on the ground. The panels highlighted regional social economy models that can inform Jordan’s growing ecosystem, and discussed how green and social enterprises can deepen collaboration with the private sector to build sustainable, knowledge-driven growth.
We also heard from Alfanar-supported enterprises from our SEED cycles in Lebanon and Jordan – Project Sea, Hopes, MyCraft, and ArchiSmile – who shared how Alfanar’s support strengthened their business models, financial resilience, and cross-border connections.
For ways to stay connected with Alfanar and the wider ecosystem:
We are grateful to all the social enterprises, speakers and attendees who participated in this event. Together, we are building the infrastructure for the Arab region’s impact economy.
