Selena Chávez

Selena Chávez is Alfanar's Communications Coordinator, focusing on coordinating admin, communications, and managing the Executive Director's diary. She holds a BA in Political Science and International Studies from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and an MSc in Human Rights from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Selena's work experience has led her to work with refugee and migrant communities in her native town of Chattanooga, Tennessee while holding various board member positions with Kiva and YMCA. With an avid passion for civil society empowerment and social entrepreneurship in the MENA region, Selena is devoted to Alfanar's mission.
